National Product Services, an Irving, Texas based Retail Services Company, is the leader in the retail services industry, providing comprehensive merchandising, product assembly services and POP, Fixture, and Display Installation services to major retailers. With approximately 4,000 employees, NPS provides services in all 50 states as well as in Canada and Puerto Rico.

We are currently seeking a qualified Director of Sales to join the existing Canada team, Creative Retail Services. CRS is dedicated to being the most effective provider of merchandising services for the Canadian divisions of Home Depot and Office Depot. We provide expertise and flexibility that allows clients to thrive within these and other retailer's ever changing, and fast paced retail environments.

The ideal candidate will develop and implement strategic plans to accommodate corporate goals, execute sales strategy, initiate contact with existing and potential customers, identify their needs and sell appropriate services to meet those needs. This person will be an expert at creating and maintaining successful relationships with current and future clients. The ideal candidate will have the ability to independently identify and pursue new business with existing and potential customers and maintain an efficient pipeline of current and future business leads. This may include attending trade shows and conventions to represent the company and generate new business.

Responsibilities
. Manage assigned accounts
. Call prospective customers and establish needs, and create relationships.
. Prospect, qualify and generate sales within our established network.
. Create and build client relationships while sponsoring interaction to obtain projects.
. Represent the organization at trade association meetings to promote services.
. Assist in developing and facilitating the proposal process for specific clients including budgeting and pricing development, proposal writing, contract negotiations, and client presentations.
. Establish and maintain on-going client relationships with the various parties to anticipate and resolve potential problems. Participate in site visits.
. Work closely with the Special Projects team, Account Management, and Business Development.
. Remain knowledgeable and up to date on changes and developments.
. Keep management updated and informed of all activity, including timely preparation of reports.
. Communicate with co-workers, management, clients, and others in a courteous and professional manner.
. Conform with and abide by all regulations, policies, work procedures, and instructions.
. Manage day to day operations of office branch

Requirements
. Bachelor's Degree
. 5-6 years work experience in sales or account management
. Experience managing a branch or office team
. Proven sales success with the ability to create and maintain strong client relationships
. Self motivated with an entrepreneurial attitude and a strong will for success
. Ability to sense and relate observations to business opportunity
. Excellent organizational skills and time management
. Excellent communication skills are required, both written and oral
. Ability to travel
. Proficiency in MS Office
